Date: March 2023
Description:
My family has lived and survived in the Appalachian Mountains for generations. We are tough, proud people who work hard and live close to the land…but the land can be harsh and unforgiving.
As the mountains give, they also must take.
In the Bitter Winter, I share stories from my life and of growing up in Southeast West Virginia. It’s an exploration of my culture and an honoring of the land that birthed me. This vulnerable retelling of stories was written in the aftermath of a personal tragedy and offers real life examples of Shadow Work.
Join me and the Cailleach on a journey through the Bitter Winter storms and discover the gifts that Mother Winter Brings.
Included Themes:
-Shadow Work -Druidry
